tetra316 0 #1 November 2, 2004 I'm going to be down in Odessa for a couple weeks in early December working and was wondering if there are any dropzones nearby or withing a few hours? I'd love to get some jumping in on my day off!
Shotgun 1 #2 November 2, 2004 I jumped at Westex Skysports a long time ago. It was a fun little dropzone. It's probably about 40 miles from Odessa. Be sure to jump in cowboy boots so you don't get stickers on your ankles.
masterrig 1 #3 November 8, 2004 go to westexskysports.com for all the info!
 masterrig 1 #4 November 8, 2004 It sure used to be that way at WesTex but, they keep the stickers mowed down before they get a chance to 'grow'! When I first started jumpingthere, we made a jump and spent the next hour pickin' stickers out of us and our canopies. It's still a fun place! Come see us! If, you ever get the chance, come see us. For a 1 - Cessna DZ, it's a lot of fun! Those guys and gals are lots of fun for sure. I am sure you would have a good time there. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.
