going to SDU at deland first week in Nov

I am doing my TAFF at SDU on november 3rd. will be staying at Deland any suggestions on what to buy for my training or what to bring. Also going to be moving to Orlando in January. whats the best DZ near me for fun jumps. are there alot of jumpers in the orlando area?

theres really not a lot to buy or bring, Im not sure where your from but the weather can get "chilly" here in November so be sure to bring some warm clothes, as far as the closest DZ from orlando, there are several within driving distance. I would venture to guess Deland, Titusville, Lake wales or maybe even Sebastian would work. However I "think" titusville or Deland would be the closest. I don't think the jumpers who live in Orlando really frequent one particular dz because the city is pretty equal in distance to most of the major dz's here. If I were you, I would visit Z-hills, Lake Wales, Sebastian, Titusville and Deland and decide which one works the best for you as to what you are looking for.
