skymama 37 #2 August 23, 2004 I'm not sure if the Jacksonville dz is still open, but I think Palatka is the closest small dz and Deland the closest large dz. The wind tunnel is down in Orlando on International Drive. Mapquest can probably tell you how long it would take to get there. I'm guessing close to 2 1/2 hours. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
freefalle 0 #3 August 23, 2004 Jacksonville is still open, although I dont know if they are there every day ( I think they are) Call Stacy at titusville, they also run jax, she would be able to give you some information as to their hrs during the week. gravityizsexy 0 #5 September 21, 2004 yeah man, slydive jacksonville has a pulse. and it's funny you should say nick, he signed my first tandem, dude hates me but it's cool. he's a awsome guy, knows what he's doing, and has like 1 billion jumps under his belt. JAX is kind of small but titusville is live, lots of people just hanging out... ummmm... I'll be there. look up Herlong Airport on mapquest, they'll hook you up. it's IN JAX. crutch 0 #6 September 22, 2004 Jacksonville is sometimes hit or miss, so you can try them. Palatka is about an hour south of Jacksonville. We are open every Saturday and Sunday, and have been jumping a couple of days during the week lately. Give Jeff a call at the DZ for the schedule the days you are going to be in town. If he knows what days, we can usaully round up a few locals and make some jumps.blue skies, art

TheAnvil 0 #11 October 11, 2004 2.5 hours would be correct. Palatka, Deland and Titusville are the closest DZ's you're likely to encounter other fun-jumpers at.
