Keithor 0 #1 July 27, 2013 I've just finished my 13th jump this week and I'm looking for a coach to help me towards my A. I cant jump on weekends typically but have any weekday I want. I've got 2 signed off coach 1 jumps and need a few more. I am trying to find a C1 or C2 to help me get the rest of my jumps in. I am currently jumping at Skydive Toronto. I am trying to find someone who can teach me how to pack and assist me in getting my packing endorsement. I have almost all my accuracy landings, passed my coach barrel rolls jump, and backloops. I have also spent some time in the wind tunnel in Montreal (I went after failing my 3rd PFF jump). I am most interested in the RW aspect of jumping at the moment but I do 100% understand that ALL of the skills are necessary to survive in the sport. If anyone is available or interested please let me know. It looks like Tuesday and Thursday are both going to be good weather days but as we all know that can change quickly. Any help is appreciated, Keith
t1mb0b 0 #2 July 29, 2013 You'll need to jump with a C2 if you want those 2 way RW endorsement jumps required for CSPA A license. Most dropzones should have a C2 available for these coach jumps. Normally, it is expected you pay for their slot on the jump, and some coaches also request a coaching fee ($10 or $20). Have you asked Skydive Toronto who the C2s are at that DZ? Keithor 0 #3 July 29, 2013 Thanks. Yes I have asked and many are tandem masters or pff instructors. All are willing to help but making a living trumps a token $15. Which I totally understand. I might be able to get one c2 / day or if its not busy I may be able to get more, I just figured if someone came out to do this it would increase my chances greatly.
