katiebear21 0 #1 June 21, 2004 Well, we're hitting the road again and heading North. Hopefully we won't deal with humidity and heat like we're having in NC and Georgia. Chuckie and I will be in New Jersey from the 24th of June through the 5th of July between Cross Keys and Wildwood for the PST meet! See ya there! McDuck 0 #2 June 22, 2004 I wish Cora and I could come visit, but we're kinda strapped for the moment. We miss you both and hope to see you again soon.Kevin - Sonic Beef #5 - OrFun #28 "I never take myself too seriously, 'cuz everybody know fat birds don't fly." - FLC Online communities: proof that people never mature much past high school. McDuck 0 #4 June 23, 2004 Out of curiosity, will the two of you be making your way back in our direction in the foreseeable future? Cora and I never even got a chance to hang out with you much after a day of jumping. kimgriffin 0 #5 June 25, 2004 Hey Katie! Bummed I'll miss you and Chuckie this go around! Thinking of you. If it's any consolation, it's damn hot and humid here in DeLand too! I'm sure being next the ocean will offer some relief (Wildwood). Well, that and a frosty pina colada at the end of the day! Hey... if anyone is interested... www.spiritairlines.com had some really good prices on flights in to Atlantic City (closest to Wildwood). ~Kim
CanuckInUSA 0 #6 June 25, 2004 QuoteI'll just miss you. I get to Cross Keys on the 7th of July And you'll miss me by two days as well. I'm off to the Wildwood PST boogie for the July 4th long weekend and will be passing through Crosskeys on the 1st and the 5th. And one of my younger brothers and one of my nephews are in Wildwood working this summer (serving all the tourists their drinks and food). I probably won't see very much of them as they'll be busy working, but myself and likely a certain DZ.COM bad-ass freeflying diva will be in the Wildwood area trying to corrupt those two poor young whuffos (and of course getting some jumps in and watching the PST guys and gals do their thing). It should be fun!!! Try not to worry about the things you have no control over

katiebear21 0 #8 July 7, 2004 I don't know how many more times I can say what a great time we had in NJ. First of all, many thanks to John E. for his hospitality. There were no more RV slots available so he put us out next to the fuel truck with our camper facing the main landing area right in between the swoop pond and hanger. We definitely had the best spot in the house! The Rancho Deluxe became a gathering spot more than once over the course of a week. Monkeyclaw was equally hospitible. Thanks Damo, Adam, and Heath for your hospitality. Heath and Shanie - great wedding party. Thanks so much for the invite. Had it not been for you I'd never have known what that Vegan stuff was! Let me also say that the folks that work there (some who post here too) work harder than almost any other dropzone I've ever been at. One tandem master made 17 jumps on a Sunday! Selwyn and Will - you guys are my hero's. How 'bout those cleaning rounds, huh? To everyone else that made the stay pleasent, Collin, Jacko, Kim, DK, Cameron, Frick and the whole packer crew, Michele, Damo, Cruzie, Shawn, Bonnie, Ed, Nigel, and everyone else whose face was on every load I was on - thanks for the GREAT time!!! I know I forgot tons of people but I've killed many brain cells in the last 2 weeks! I hope to make it back up there so I can actually jump with some of you guys again! Will - I got dibs on you first. I wanna see that left hand pull! Katie Get your PMS glass necklace here
