saygak 0 #1 June 16, 2004 Friends, 2004 Open European Championship and the IPC Anton Malevsky Memorial World Cup will be held in Stupino from June 29 to July 03. Mabeuge (France), Deland Majik (the USA), Sinapsi PD (Italy) and some other teams (altogether they make up about twenty fourth) have already applied for RW competitions. As to landing accuracy, there have been applications from Chinese, Italian, Ukrainian, Russian teams and also some sportsmen from Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany and Kazakhstan. The schedule consists of 3 jumping and one reserve day (taking into consideration weather conditions), a traditional jump in memory of Anton Malevskiy, commencement and finishing meeting, rewarding and also concert and banquet. FAI general secretary Max BISHOP, FAI Commission President on Parachuting Patrice GIRARDIN, FAI Commission President on Parachuting B.J. WORTH and many others are expected to arrive at the competitions. Being held for 3 years in succession, the competitions had already been given the 1st category international competitions status on the second year of holding. This is owing to excellent organization, participants high qualification, referees professionalism and good technical background (MI-8, L-410 and AN-2). As an informational sponsor of the Cup, ‘Skydiver’ magazine has founded a special section on its site. The section covers everything connected with the cup, including organizational information, teams profiles, competitions rules and others. We also will conduct a live commentary from a dropzone during the Cup holding.
