JohanW 0 #2 September 4, 2003 Not that I know of. OK, who wants to go where? I can recommend Teuge NL, quite some DZ.commers, Grand Caravan, Birdfolk, CReWdogs, flat- and freefliers, reasonable prices, decent accommodations, open weekdays until end of October, not too big, not too small, rigger and shop available, well, whatnotJohan. I am. I think.

Chrisky 2 #4 September 5, 2003 I can recommend Spa, Belgium, a few DZ.commers there, too. Nice ppl, good atmo. The mind is like a parachute - it only works once it's open. bloody_trauma 2 #5 May 15, 2006 theres a little place in saarbrucken, germany called flugplatz duren, i did my first tandem jump there, its small and out of the way but the view from above is great, but the downside is that they only jump on the weekendFly it like you stole it
wingnut 0 #6 June 7, 2006 Quotetheres a little place in saarbrucken, germany called flugplatz duren nice place, when i jumped there they had a turbine cessna 206 and it climbed like a bat out of hell... there was "two" dz's operating from the aiport one a club and the other a for profit dz... and i think it is actually outside of saarloius.... as said before spa belgium is nice, never jumped there as it was a 45 minue drive and my old home dz "fsc trier" was only 15 minutes ______________________________________ "i have no reader's digest version"
Merkur 1 #7 June 7, 2006 Dueren still has up to three turbine cessnas. Normally they operate just one. More info on their website: http://www.fsvsaar.de It's now "just" one DZ operating there. The German manufacturer Paratec http://www.paratec.dewill open its new facility end of this year directly at the DZ. So lots of demos will be available. Spa on the other hand is a bigger DZ with all the pros and cons attached to that (there are no real cons at Spa, but some folks just like the smaal cozy kind of DZ better).
