ojf1982 0 #1 March 19, 2003 It has been more than 7 months since the WFFC took place. On Martini Shots website, an update on 12/23/02 says that the DVDs are in the authoring phase. I am starting to think that these guys are nothing but a scam to get our money. I have left numerous messages and no return call. Has anybody been in contact with Martini? The edge ... there is no honest way to explain it because the only people who know where it is are those that have gone over - Hunter S. lewmonst 0 #3 March 19, 2003 Omar, The VHS's were shipped out a while ago. Grant has had some trouble with the DVD's becuase of the technology. I've seen the DVD prototype version 3. There were still a few glitches. The DVD is awesome and will be worth it. But Grant has had to work with the authoring people to get the glitches fixed... He has posted a few updates on here and on Freefall.com. If you search around you'll find other threads discussing this. Here is the latest update Grant posted on freefall.com: QuoteOK, some good news for all of you that are waiting for the DVD. After a little reworking I will be receiving the 5th and what I believe to be final Prototype on Friday. I will then review it once more to make sure it is functioning properly. Then it will be off to duplication. Once again I appreciate your understanding as this new technology evolves they are new and unforeseen problems that we try our best to avoid, but sometimes to no avail. They create delays and it takes some time to work our way through them. I believe we are just about there, and will update this board again once I review V5. Grant Grant has worked very very hard on this, and it's good. Also note, due to the difficulty in making a DVD, he has stated that this year will be VHS only. So if you're getting a DVD from '02, be glad. Grant has said he might consider going back to the DVD in future years, but not until this process is better worked out. Trust me, the DVD has cost him more time and headaches than money he has earned from this. hope that helps... peacehttp://www.exitshot.com
