aff levels 2 and 3

Recommended Posts

well I took advice from my last post and scheduled 2 jumps for today I will start with first jump of the day aff level 2
jump went well had better body position but still need to work on legs (backsliding) had better alt. awareness and had a line twist on opening which untwisted quickly, I have found out that I am de-arching on pull so I will work on that also, winds were up 14 mph had me worried slightly but not enough to deter me from jumping knowing I am riding a large canopy on landing flared high plf'd but was real happy with the jump
level 3 went real nice did all manuevers properly, good and stable but then still de-arching on pull will have to work harder on that landed out and plf'd another landing in farmers feild but all in all I feel absolutely wonderful about todays jumps thanks to those that replied with info I used it today and had a blast
Bring on level 4 I'm ready

PEACE OUT Don

Good job! Did your instructors give you "home work" to correct your de-arched body position? Level 3 is a release dive at my dz. Where you able to complete all the TLOs and get released? Sounds like you are progressing pretty well.

Shark he did give a couple things for me to work on so I will be doing that this week to improve for the next one I am in such good spirits right now you couldn't smack the smile off my face I did all my tasks they asked but they did not release, reserve side JM said he was having too much fun and didn't want to let go, I personally think we were too close to pull time so he just stayed with me, so they told me on the next jump that he would definitely let go provided everything is as good as the previous jumps I will be looking forward to going with just 1 JM it will be a different scenario and I am starting to get a rush off of that little quivering feeling when something new to the dive comes along this stuff is unbelievable I love it and will never look at things in the same way that I once did before I made that decision to buy that first tandem jump.

Later Don
