jeremyneas 0 #1 April 2, 2003 I heard ol boy that owns all the CASA's in America just filed Chapter 11. Can anyone expand? Is this the end of the cool (albeit crappy maintanencewise) tailgater? Are we left with man your door Skyvans, expensive C-130's and C-24's? Jeremy

SkymonkeyONE 4 #5 April 2, 2003 That is inaccurate. We have a CASA 212 here at Raeford that WE own. Actually, we own all three of our turbines, our Twin Bonanza, and both of our Cessnas. Chuck
covey 0 #6 April 2, 2003 I hope the Casas stay!! I have heard so many cool things about jumping them. Perhaps they will stick around long enough for me to get a Casa jump in at a boogie somewhere. AndyMan 7 #7 April 2, 2003 Quote I hope the Casas stay! It's premature to talk about Fayard loosing his planes. His assets more then double his liabilities, his balance sheet is in not terrible shape. I do imagine there will be some changes in the way he runs his business, but I doubt he's going to be forclosed upon. That said, I do wonder how much usage his CASA's get. It seems like his super-otters are in much more demand. _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.

riggerrob 643 #9 April 5, 2003 The difference between Canadian and American bankruptsy laws is that American laws actually allow businesses to pay off their debts and survive filing bankruptsy.
