fudd 0 #1 April 8, 2003 May 31st there will be an eclipse in Europe. Map from NASA I'm hoping my dropzone will arrange an eclipse jump, but still waiting to hear from them. The eclipse will not be total, but over 90%. It will be at about 04.00am and the sun will be about 7-8 degrees above the horizon. An eclipse jump would be just awesom There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

fudd 0 #3 April 8, 2003 Got to study the map and browse the NASA pages more, but I think it will be about 90% in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Island and northern UK. fly 0 #4 April 9, 2003 I have been lucky enough to do two eclipse jumps, one in 1999 at Empuriabrava (about 88% I think) and the other in December last year in the north of South Africa (Birdman!) Make it happen - incredible visuals! "Thou shall not take thine altitude for granted for the earth shall rise up and smite thee."
Tonto 1 #5 April 9, 2003 I heard the SA dive missed the eclipse by quite a few minuites last year. Was that the one organised by Graham? tIt's the year of the Pig.
