accident

Hello,
I heard from a Florida jumper today,
that he heard from California today,
and that there was an accident
at a Northern California DZ today.
It involved a member of my skydiving "family".
Please respond only privately if
anyone can help me with FACTS.
I have not the courage to call
my bro's Dad, but I would like to know.......
