2nd Tandem Jump

Hey everyone,

I made my 2nd tandem yesterday!! Absolutely AWESOME!! i just have a couple of questions that i hope someone in here could answer.

1. What is the Circle of Awareness? Ive been racking my brain trying to remember.

2. What is a Horny Gorilla?

Just to expand on that a little. What I was taught is that the COA is bassically a way for a) the JMs to give you signals to correct your position and b) It is a way for you to let your JMs know that you are altitude aware (at least somewhat.)

Thanks, pretty lazy today, but I was also thinking that he is at a tandem progression dz considering his post...where a COA maybe a bit different compared to an AFF COA, but I could be wrong. I havent worked with tandem progression before.

Yeah, I have no idea about tandem progression either... The DZ im learning at doesn't do it, so im just an aff'er.

Yes there is a tandem progression at our drop zone (Quantum Leap Sullivan MO) it consists of 3 tandem jumps, then the AFF course.
