How to become professional?

Recommended Posts

I think the first and most obvious step is to become a proficient skydiver. (technically I guess you could become a dealer, rigger, etc where you wouldnt need skydiving skills but I take it you're talking about becoming an instructor)

Well..
You're in the right place! :)
Seem to have the right attitude! ;)
Get to it youngster!
And good luck to you!!! B|

I was 18 when I started, 28 years ago...
and I've been paid to jump more often than I've paid to do it.

Anything is possible if you want it bad enough...
My wife wanted to fly since she was 14.....she's now a 777 pilot for a major airline.

GO FOR IT!

I wrote something about how I became a tandem instructor a while back, I think it was in this forum, if you search you'll probably find it.

Now, a quick list of things to do for you to become VERY good VERY quick:

1. Go through an AFF program or Tandem ISP.
2. Go through Skydive U.
3. Go to an Airspeed tunnel camp
4. Jump your nutz off
