AggieDave 6 #3 August 11, 2003 We've talked about it before, so if you do a search, you'll find it. Here's the short answer. It came from the '60s, where death was MUCH more common. Even if you did everything right, the gear might fuck you and you'd die. So people would say Blue Skies (since that's what we want as skydivers), and people would repsond Black Death (since that was the reality, that when they had blue skies, they might have black death).
