Just got back from the big desert in the mideast. I'm hurtin on my currency ratings. Where should I go?'m stationed in 29Palms CA. I've got 250 jumps and an A license. Alright, yes I know I shouldn't have slacked off and not gotten my licenses. But now I've got an A license and an Icarus safire 129. I just don't wanna freak anybody out. I'm an uber conservative canopy pilot. Any suggestions?

Perris isnt' too far; we get a lot of people from 29 palms out there, and you can be as uber conservative as you like - the landing area is close to 500 acres.

Elsinore is a little more scenic and a smaller 'family' vibe, but it's about 20 minutes farther from you.

Either DZ is pretty friendly, come by on a weekend and I'll jump with you anytime!

Elsinore is great and I agree with the "family vibe" and its a little easier to "break in" at Elsinore then Perris, but Perris is cool too.

There is also Cal City... a lot of military folk jump there too.
