I'm a little drunk right now. So I wanted to send one to the sky for any DZs that are in the wake of the hurricane. I hope no one gets hurt and I hope the damage is kept to a minimum. I love my DZ (AFF Student..I am) and I want to see no harm to it or the wonderful people that run it.

I think most DZs are storing their planes in protected hangars, and obviously not doing any loads

edit- although this weekend is supposed to be beautiful in NC.

I keep checking accuweather.com for weather in NJ This weekend:) it looks really good, i think i might be able to do AFF levels 5, 6, and maybe 7!!:)

The winds are already blowing at an average of 20-30 mph here, in the outskirts of Wash DC. They should be increasing to around 60 mph by 9pm til tomorrow. Will see how it goes.

I travelled from San Diego to DC on business this past week, now I'm stuck here with a big-ass hurricane coming right in over my head. Duck and cover time is tonight about midnight!!
