Casch 0 #5 September 22, 2003 It can depend on the DZ. At Kapowsin, you're off student status when you've completed 20 jumps and a graduation dive (A license check dive). DeNReN 0 #6 September 23, 2003 I concur with freaky.....always learning.....getting off "student" status to me means being self supervised.....now i have to go find a jm to jump with instead of having one assigned to me....(hey ...I know ya wana go freefly...but...I'd love a little help with.....followed by a big lost look) Enjoy your student status and suck up every second of instructor time that u can........After all instructors dont want to go do fun jumps...they perfer to stay belly to earth and help ppl like you and me.
