rehmwa 2 #1 September 25, 2003 I'm traveling to San Jose for a couple weeks. After reading the last couple e-mails on this subject, I'm going to carry on my rig and try to jump/play with as many people as I can find and try a couple different DZs. I'd like to have three documents with me during checkin: 1 - The TSA letter to USPA outlining their policy (you know it conflicts with the cypres guidance?) I have it 2 - Northwest Airlines policy on parachutes HELP - can't find it 3 - The Cypres letter noting the x-ray profile of the unit HELP - can't find it (I'm not sure where my card is but will keep looking). Or if someone will scan their card and email to me, that would be cool 4 - USPA membership card to supplement the TSA letter. no kidding, I'd like to find #2 and 3 before leaving Monday. THANKS ... rehmwa 2 #2 September 25, 2003 Betsy at USPA is sending the NW policy. FYI - she says they are likely to post them on the website so we can get them directly. I hope this happens. (I said likely). USPA can be cool and helpful once in a while.... One last thing to get. I found some older posts with info, so I know there's not much discussion here. ... TaeKwonDoDo 0 #7 September 26, 2003 I just travelled to AZ and back from SJ (weekend at SD AZ). They didn't even ask what was in my carry-on bag (which was significantly oversized, mind you) - but in case they did, I did have the papers. Shouldn't be a problem.
