Nick 0 #26 October 1, 2003 How about Tigg's Islander I got board after 30 minutes and it was only about 8k. But it's still a cool plane. Nick Gravity- It's not just a good idea, it's the LAW!
AggieDave 6 #27 October 1, 2003 Hey everyone, thank you so much for the replies. When I get to the DZ today I'm going to print out this thread to give to him. I'm sure you'll see my student at one of these DZs at some point after this week. --"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." iam 0 #28 October 2, 2003 If he needs an introduction at Hinton, let me know and i'll do my best to make sure he meets the required people. I can PM my mobile to give to him if required."Don't ever knock on deaths door, just ring the bell and run away - it really pisses him off"
mr2mk1g 10 #29 October 2, 2003 Oh you gotta love tigg's Islander... I think they ought to fit machine guns on the wing so it can chase off those stray planes that think it will be fun to fly over an active DZ to have a look. Those piston engines sound great. Let your student know that he'll be welcomed into the UK DZ community wherever he goes.
Nick 0 #30 October 2, 2003 I loved the way he used to fly it over to Weston just so he could get mushrooms in his bacon butty!!!! Nick Gravity- It's not just a good idea, it's the LAW!
