jumper03 0 #1 October 6, 2003 In the 2004 SIMS the aerial performace requirements for the B license have been changed. Previously it read only: (1) demonstrated the ability to perform individual maneuvers (left 360, right 360, backloop, left 360, right 360, backloop) in freefall in 18 seconds or less Now this has been added: (2) or successful completion of the planned formation(s) on ten group freefall jumps The SIMS states that a group freefall is 2 or more jumpers. So I could get my skybud and launch a round and hold that until pull, repeat 10 times and not worry about doing the stuff in part (1)? Something seems amiss. (2) to me seems to be an easy way out. Am I missing something? Or is USPA counting on people obeying the spirit if not the letter of the rule? No biggie for me Blue Skies, JumpScars remind us that the past is real
