falxori 0 #1 November 17, 2003 i was asked by my boss to give a short presentation on skydiving... like most of us, there arent many things i like talking about more than this anyway, i need to put together a powerpoint presentation and i dont have a lot of time. anybidy knows of a pre-made presentation i could borrow? (just doing my share promoting the sport...) O "Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero."
Squeak 17 #2 November 17, 2003 there is a ppt on John Kallends website I think, Ask him?You are not now, nor will you ever be, good enough to not die in this sport (Sparky) My Life ROCKS! How's yours doing?
pilotdave 0 #3 November 17, 2003 What's the purpose of the presentation? I mean, just about skydiving in general, or making your first jump, or what? I have one about making a first jump but it's very much tailored to the needs of one specific club. It would take a bit of editing. If you're looking for something more general, can't help ya. Chapsta 0 #4 November 17, 2003 I did one six months ago for a speech class here at TXstate. I'm looking for it. It's pretty general... just explains skydiving from a jumpers point of view and talks about common misconceptions. I'll PM you if I find it. lewmonst 0 #6 November 18, 2003 i made one to show middle schoolers, if you have an ftp site, I'll drop it on there. it's pretty basic, just text and photos, something to talk from. i also showed video when i did it... but that's not in the powerpoint. you can also go to Elsinore's webpage, there's a good animation for first time jumpers of tandem and aff, and then you could show some video as well bring your gear in to talk about peace lewhttp://www.exitshot.com
