I just have to give great kudos to Kobus Wiese and the rest of the folks at Chicagoland skydiving.
We (ground rush in Beaumont Tx) leased the Porter from them for the winter months. The Porter was damaged and is being repaired, so they sent us their super otter. Knowning in advance that we couldn't fill it or keep it flying back to back loads. They have been so great taking up light loads or what ever it took to get us in the air. It would have been perfectly understandable for them to hold the Otter because we just didn't have enough folks. I'm just really glad to say that there is still honor out there and still people that will go above and beyond that to help out fellow skydivers.
They really have earned our business and more importantly our friendship and I hope that anyone in the Chicago area visit these remarkable skydivers, pilots, and staff. I know I have a trip for the summer planning right now.
Thanks to Kobus Wiese and the rest of the folks at Chicagoland. B| B|

From what I understand, from 3rd parties...

The CSC porter went into the shop for a new pair of shocks after flying the majority of loads in the 500 jumps in 24 hour marathon at Lake Elsinore.

The lifts were suposed to be shared with Skydive Arizonas porter, but it suffered enough damage during a hard landing that it needed to sit out.
