aero04 0 #1 November 23, 2003 On Saturday (Nov. 22) I finally got to 100 jumps. And it only took me two and a half years to get there. It is such a good feeling finally getting to 100.I got to the DZ sitting on 98 jumps and since this is the first weekend with Beech 99 jumps, we tried to get my SCR. We didn't get it on jump 99, so jump 100 was attempt #2. Everything was looking great, we had 6 people in the star and here is where things got fun. Aggiedave and I were going for the same spot. I saw him out of the corner of my eye so I just slipped to the right a bit to dock one slot over. Aggiedave docked and we had 7 in the star. All I had to do was one simple dock... I come forward for the dock, and reached for their hands. Yep, backslide. So I'm a bit more aggressive for the second time, I know, BAD!, and I flew above someone, caught the burble and frontflipped into the star. By the time I got stable and looked up, the whole star had scattered. Me flipping into the formation made for a damn funny video. So attempt #2 was unsuccessful. No worries though, it was a shitload of fun. Mucho thanks to everyone on the load, I had a blast!! Third time's a charm, we'll get the SCR on the next try.
