ncjumpjunkie 0 #1 December 15, 2003 Why is it that every time i get on Drop Zone .com to post something. It always gets erased or removed from a Forum! Are the mediators of the forums biased towards me! Or is this just good ole American censorship! John Hayes
Paige 0 #2 December 15, 2003 I doubt it is a personal vendeta. If the moderators were deleting posts b/c of personal dislikes, I don't think many people would post on dz.com.Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com

kai2k1 0 #4 December 15, 2003 QuoteThe rules of the Dropzone Forums are pretty simple. There's not many of them, but they'll be enforced. The rules are: 1) No personal attacks. None. 2) No jokes or references to paedophilia. None. 3) No advertising 4) Stick to the topics in the topical forums Those are all the rules! Everything below simply plays to forum etiquette. Some things will make you unpopular: 1) Spam 2) Mindless post whoring 3) Repeating yourself 4) Rudeness 5) SHOUTING Some things will make you popular: 1) Lurk. Spend some time before you storm in 2) Search before you ask 3) Punctuate and spell check 4) Help newbies 5) Be nice Finally, a few good ideas: 1) Don't feed the trolls! 2) Substantiate your claims 3) Think before you post 4) Use your common sense 5) Don't run with scissors These can change and is likely to evolve over time. Have fun! Safe swoops Sangiro

Hooknswoop 19 #7 December 15, 2003 1) If your post was deleted, don't post it again! It was deleted for a reason and will just get deleted again. 2) It is Moderators, not "mediators". 3) This thread will probably get trashed to, since it is in the General Skydiving Discussions Forum. 4) The Moderators are not biased towards you. 5) It is not censorship, it is Moderators doing their job and keeping the forums in line with the rules. 6) First rule of holes: Quit digging Derek
PhillyKev 0 #8 December 15, 2003 Looking at your other posts, it appears you do a lot of promotion. Advertising is not allowed unless you pay for it.

skymama 37 #15 December 15, 2003 This is the wrong forum to post this question in, it should be in Talkback. That said, I'm the one who deleted your post in Events. If you look at the top of each forum, you'll see who the moderator is in that forum. You can PM them directly instead of starting a thread about it. Your thread title said skydives were free, but then once you opened it, it said this: Our Skydives are FREE, But the aircraft rides to altitude cost. Your thread was misleading, so it got dumped. If you have a special Event weekend going on with reduced prices or an upcoming boogie, by all means post it. If you're just trying to be cute and use our forums for advertising, it's going to get trashed every time. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
billvon 3,107 #16 December 15, 2003 >It always gets erased or removed from a Forum! You have posted 21 times here so far. One of your posts was removed from view; it was effectively an ad for a DZ. Four were deleted; since they were just plain deleted I can't see why they were removed. The other 17 are still there.
