Blahr 0 #1 January 11, 2004 It was -15 F. (-26 C.) at 13,000 ft today in Cross Keys Only a few of us braved the cold temps. They flew only 2 loads today and I was on both of em :-) They had trouble getting the plane started prior to both loads due to the temp. I look at it this way, almost any day is gonna be warmer than today, so the rest of the winter is lookin pretty good Whats the coldest you have ever jumped? skygrl70 0 #9 January 11, 2004 It was COLD, VERY COLD!!! Many students took advantage of the free refreshers....I took the packing classes, from Chris and practiced packing and stuff. Ya know, everything tonight just made me realize how fortunate I am to be learning here. Cross Keys is the SHZIT...and EVERYONE there is SOOOOO awsome. The instructors who gave their time freely, Dave Pancake, Range Luda, and of course...MARK KRUSE....THESE GUYS ROCK!!!!!!! And I mean they ROCK>>>>>>HARD!!!!!! Mary deserves the honorary HOOOOOOOORAAAH!!!! And Rodger!!! Thanks to you guys soooo much. I knew before, however, it is reinforced by now, that I am SOOOO SOOO lucky to be jumping here at Cross Keys...these guys are like my second family. I am SOOOO fortunate to be a part of this... No the plane was not heated, yes it sucked under canopy, and yes I did it 4 more times that day. I mean what the hell else was I gonna do? Coming soon to a bowl of Wheaties near you!!
