I remember that load. R2 is a great guy and has a really close set of friends. From the sounds of it. he will be getting out of the hospital soon and headed back home.

Kalyne ... I'm happy to hear that you bought the beer that you owed, but I'm sorry I wasn't around to taste it. Winnie and I were off skiing in Keystone yesterday. The snow wasn't the best, but the skies were clear and we had a great time. It was good to finally hit the slopes this year.

You also missed my 4 solo jumps! Went well and with each one, I feel I learned something new. Getting good at flips and tracking and on the 2 jumps on Sunday, I got on my back, pulled me knees in and got really close to my first sit. Was AWESOME! However, the only problem was that I sped up really fast and lost altitude faster than expected and pulled lower than "the plan". The 5 way that went out ahead of me saw me "zoom" by them. As I was under canopy, I looked up and realized that I was first down..lesson learned.

Okay...let's get this right...Jeremy did a tandem with me early October...no independence from that experience..however..Phil/Riddler...you taught me all the mals and basics...and I'm ever so grateful! As I had my first line twist at L3 of AFF...I was so ready. No panic. Had lots more time than I thought I'd have and kicked out..sort of fun ok..so now the record is straight..
