Dublin_Shane 0 #1 February 17, 2004 Howdy, I've been planning on coming to FL (DeLand) from Holland in the next 2-3 weeks to take the AFF course but looking at the weather forecast it's not looking too sunny/clear there. I know the DZ has an excellent reputation but should I go somewhere else in the US instead to be sure of perfect skydiving weather ? I'd really be bugged if I didn't get it finished in the 8 days I'll be there. Another question, do DZ's generally let you repeat AFF levels until you pass them without charging you extra ? Thanks, Shane
benny 0 #2 February 18, 2004 I don't think any DZ can guarantee perfect weather bub. I did talk to a guy that said somewhere in Florida offers a pre-pay program where repeats are included. However I'm not sure if they let you jump extra if you don't have to repeat and if not your money is down the brain bye bye. Never go to a DZ strip show. Kramer 0 #3 February 18, 2004 QuoteAnother question, do DZ's generally let you repeat AFF levels until you pass them without charging you extra ? I may be completely wrong here, but....no. I think at ZHills you get a discount or something if you're redoing a level. Oh, also, go to ZHills. The FAKE KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER!!!!!!!!! BETO74 0 #6 February 18, 2004 Dude, the weather here in FL is so unpredictable, you could be at the dropzone the radar shows a block of cloud everywere but on top of the DZ thereis a clear hole or one second is sunny the next is rainy, that's why I always go to the Dz no matter what, I don't think you can have it better than Fl, ohhh wait Pahokee, Fl the ockechobee lake creates a hole almost everytime.http://web.mac.com/ac057a/iWeb/AC057A/H0M3.html
katiebear21 0 #7 February 18, 2004 Go to the desert... Eloy. Might be a little chilly in the mornings still but there's less chance of rain or clouds than Florida. Katie Get your PMS glass necklace here
bertusgeert 1 #8 February 18, 2004 I'm planning the same thing for my Spring Break, going to see some buddies. March 14 - 22. Let me know when u'll be there man. Miskien verstaan jy dit, miskien nie. Maar ek is van Suid Afrika af, en daar is seker 20 anner ouens van Suid Afrika daar. By Deland. Ek het op die oomblik 23 jumps. Miskien kan ons 'n jump of twee saam doen nadat jy uit AFF uit is! --------------------------------------------- As jy dom is moet jy bloei!
