RyanofOZ 0 #1 February 19, 2004 Hello all, I was just curious to see where / how any of you mount an audible on Gunner helmets? They do not have the flat mount spot on the side like most others so there has to be a few good locations other than that. Any suggestions? AndyMan 7 #3 February 19, 2004 The Gunner has two pockets on the inside of the helmet, you just put the audible in the pockets. helmet manufacturers have all converted to inside mounting posistions for audibles. Your right or my right, if we're facing each other? I thought it was the other way round? My right is for cutting away at any time, right? Even if the main is not malfuctioning? Or if I pull the handle and there's no malfuntion it won't release. OK? I'm not sure I want to pull the other handle. I was taught on my first jump course that the handle on my left starts the deployment sequence of my reserve - but you tell me it's for releasing my reserve. I'm not sure if I've already cut my main canopy away, that I'd want to release my reserve as well. That sounds dangerous. You also say "Just in case." Just in case of what? What possible senario would there be for me to want to release (Here the word means, let go, Oxford says "that unfastens something") my reserve? Could you explain this please?
