Audible Altimeter Location

Recommended Posts

The Gunner has two pockets on the inside of the helmet, you just put the audible in the pockets.

helmet manufacturers have all converted to inside mounting posistions for audibles. Not only can you hear it better, but there's a lesser chance of snag points.

The handle on the right is for cutting away a malfunctioning main,
The handle on the left for releasing your reserve.
Just in case...;)
The mind is like a parachute - it only works once it's open.
From the edge you just see more.

Your right or my right, if we're facing each other? I thought it was the other way round? My right is for cutting away at any time, right? Even if the main is not malfuctioning? Or if I pull the handle and there's no malfuntion it won't release. OK? I'm not sure I want to pull the other handle. I was taught on my first jump course that the handle on my left starts the deployment sequence of my reserve - but you tell me it's for releasing my reserve. I'm not sure if I've already cut my main canopy away, that I'd want to release my reserve as well. That sounds dangerous.

You also say "Just in case." Just in case of what? What possible senario would there be for me to want to release (Here the word means, let go, Oxford says "that unfastens something") my reserve?

Could you explain this please? I'm very confused now, and I hope I don't have a malfunction before you answer my questions.
