Jumper graduated AFF and is in a big hurry to get their A license. They get coaching on every jump and improve their flying. IMO I do an organized lesson before every jump with these jumpers. Kennedy 0 #15 February 22, 2004 Well, when I finished AFF a few years ago, there was no such thing as a coaches rating, and no card to fill out. You just got things signed off in the log book and the S&TA checked it when you said you were done. I didn't do a single "coached" jump until after I had my A. (1) I couldn't afford it after AFF and (2) renting gear was still damned expensive. Now I get coaching/training when I can from visiting hot shots, and I happily trade beer for a well coached jump from regulars, but it's not the same as what a preA newbie needs.
