flyangel2 2 #1 March 10, 2004 This just in, very exciting for those of you who are wanting to learn more about canopy flight and control. I have Brian's other book, Vertical Journey, and will be getting this one too. I'm sure it's full of all kinds of information. Now Available!! The book is entitled The Parachute and its Pilot As the title suggests, there is a bi-fold focus of subject matter. The first part is about parachutes and flight techniques. The second part is about the psychology of flight; everything from fear response to visualization. MarkM 0 #2 March 10, 2004 Looking forward to reading it. Brian gave a free canopy lecture at SOBE a few months back, it was very informative. I liked how he covered not just the canopy, but the pilot the flies it. First thing I do now when the canopy deploys is breath in and out slowly, relax, soak in the awesome view, calm my mind down. Then when I'm going in for that landing I get mentally eager to meet with the ground. It's really helped a lot.
