SSkydiver 0 #1 March 7, 2004 Hey all. I'm gonna be heading to Vegas Labor Day weekend to get married and of course i want to do the proper thing and visit a DZ and do a jump with family in tow. Was checking to see if anyone had any input on a DZ or DZ's around Vegas and which may be the top DZ to visit. Thanks for any info
sundevil777 102 #2 March 7, 2004 All the info you need is in the link at the top of the page "Dropzones". One is a tandem factory, one is recently closed. Good luckPeople are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am

Dont bother going to skydive Las Vegas in bullhead city, If you were'nt trained there then you will not be allowed to jump (unless you wish a tandem) The owner has made it clear that he doesnt wish up jumpers at all....... he just wants the big moneymakers -tandems-AFF..... the atmosphere there is .... strained to say the least, not much fun. which is unfortunate because he has some great people working for him..... But hey!!! I could be wrong its been 3 years since I was there, the rules could have changed..... The dz in Jean was fun but I have heard its been closed..... RoyThey say I suffer from insanity.... But I actually enjoy it.
firstime 0 #5 March 7, 2004 yup your right, no fun jumpers in good old boulder city, as for the atmosphere.... go to the casino and lose your money. It's more fun.

airupthere 0 #10 March 7, 2004 It's neither of the two that were competing from the same building. Both dried up. It's a different operation that was formerly in the parking lot. They now have taken over space in the building. I think it's called something like Vegas Extreme Skydiving.

INSANEDADDY 0 #13 March 11, 2004 Go to Mesquite. I went for my 30th B-day back in January. AWESOME little dz. Great friendly people. I felt as if I had been jumping there for years. Its not a bad drive from the Las Vegas strip. Depending on how fast you drive, you can make it in an hour. You dont't get to choose how you're going to die. Or when.......You can only decide how you're going to live........NOW. -BASE 1605 Night BASE
