Las Vegas DZ's????????

Recommended Posts

Hey all. I'm gonna be heading to Vegas Labor Day weekend to get married and of course i want to do the proper thing and visit a DZ and do a jump with family in tow. Was checking to see if anyone had any input on a DZ or DZ's around Vegas and which may be the top DZ to visit. Thanks for any info

All the info you need is in the link at the top of the page "Dropzones".

One is a tandem factory, one is recently closed.

Good luck
People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am

I'm actually looking for anyone who has personally been to a DZ in Vegas. Looking for info such as atmosphere, overall operations of the DZ.

Dont bother going to skydive Las Vegas in bullhead city, If you were'nt trained there then you will not be allowed to jump (unless you wish a tandem) The owner has made it clear that he doesnt wish up jumpers at all....... he just wants the big moneymakers -tandems-AFF..... the atmosphere there is .... strained to say the least, not much fun. which is unfortunate because he has some great people working for him..... But hey!!! I could be wrong :S its been 3 years since I was there, the rules could have changed.....

The dz in Jean was fun but I have heard its been closed.....

Head up to Mesquite, NV. www.skydivemesquite.com It's a little over an hour north of Las Vegas. Great people, lots of fun. Lucky Boogie going on this coming weekend, March 12-14.
Love to see anyone and everyone there.

I am flying down on the Kapowsin Otter on Thursday... be sure to look me up... I will be the one in RED

Go to Mesquite. I went for my 30th B-day back in January. AWESOME little dz. Great friendly people. I felt as if I had been jumping there for years. Its not a bad drive from the Las Vegas strip. Depending on how fast you drive, you can make it in an hour.:)
