Raistlin 0 #1 March 15, 2004 So technically I am not a license holder, not even the A: if you jump without shenanigans, a license is pretty much unneeded in Russia, so why bother for now... However, If I come to the USA in summer, will I have to get a license in order to jump there, or are there dropzones to admit me based on the logbook? Antithesis 0 #2 March 15, 2004 For most Dropzones you will have to 1st become a member of the uspa in order to jump.. temporary membership is available. Secondly if you have no license you will probably have to talk with the S&TA or the DZO and probably have to do a coach jump so that someone knows your skills.. It will definately help though if you know someone at the dz and have your own gear I travel the land, Work in the ocean, Play in the sky
