Thank you Letter

My dad always said the best way to overcome fears is to confront them. So I took up skydiving to confront my fear of heights. Since I started jumping at the Fort Campbell, KY in 94 I slowly but surely learn to control my fear of heights. Now I’m a D license holder and since I couldn’t get this thank you published in the USPA, I hope that this reaches those of you that help me with patience, understanding, and mentorship.

Susie Hanks and Harry Parrish for starting me on my first jump course, I never forgot your teachings. Jose Malave who was always there to show me the right way and the “Malave Way”. Kevin Pines at Blue Skies DZ for always making sure I got a jump and was always willing to teach me anything I asked of him about the sport. The Farrington Family at Kapowson DZ especially Andy for teaching me to just have fun and relax.

Paul Guerra an absolute legend who personally coached and mentored me throughout our time together at FT. Lewis. Chris Schott for showing me about team work on the I Corp Command Parachute Team. Raeford DZ: Kate, Tony, Larry, Bill Rafferty. The Skydiving Place, John and Kelly who always made me feel right at home. Robo and Kelly, Kip Lohlmier, Rat Boy, Greg Offhaus, Dave Weaver, Arlo, Chuck Blue, Buddha, Don Grim, Charles McBride, Eugene “The Mad Russian” Mike “Hawaii 5.0” Air Trash, James O, Steven Lee, and Raul.

The Golden Knights: Paul Rafferty, Mike Elliot, Joel Rowley one of my first jump masters at Campbell. Black Daggers: Johnny Mulford, Simon, Kane, Stew for always squaring me away with gear and coaching. Thank you all for your coaching, butt chewing and friendship. A mega thank you to all.

Blue Skies! :)
