aerialcameraman 0 #1 March 26, 2004 Anyone know where you can get the batteries for a pro-track at a cheaper and better price then the gear stores on the net. The price of them an't to bad but they charge like 9.00 for shipping. I tried the radio shack in town and walmart and nothing.
Snowbird 0 #2 March 26, 2004 Find a specialty battery shop. Even if they don't stock them, they should be able to order them. I can get them at a little place in Kelowna, so you should be able to find a battery shop in any decent sized city. Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea. -Robert A. Heinlein
headoverheels 334 #3 March 26, 2004 CR2330 can be ordered from DigiKey: http://dkc3.digikey.com/pdf/T041/1120-1123.pdf $1.43 each, ten for $12.83, plus s/h. Check a local drug store, camera store, Wall Mart, or Radio Shack, where I would guess you can get them for about $3 each. added: yep, here it is for $2.99 http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&product%5Fid=960-0431
Kris 0 #4 March 26, 2004 QuoteCR2330 can be ordered from DigiKey: Bah! In that 2330 number designation, the 23 is the diameter and the 30 denotes thickness. Two 2330's give you a thickness of 60. Get a 2335 and a 2325 (35+25=60) from Radio Shack and you'll be just fine. <--geekSky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
nightjumps 1 #5 March 26, 2004 Well, believe it or not, your local "Interstate Batteries" has them in stock - $3.00 a piece.

Kind of like with regular batteries, AA, C, D are all 1.5 volts. -- Jeff My Skydiving History

Yes, just like when you stack the two 2330's that you are supposed to use. The ProTrack uses two stacked batteries. It calls for two 2330's, but you can use a 2335 + 2325. Hell, you can even use two 2325's and put a nickle in-between them to act as a shim. As long as you get the thickness, you're okay. Those class batteries all have the same voltage. <--has been running a 2325 + 2335 in his ProTrack for the last 14 months....Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

Kris 0 #12 March 27, 2004 Quote Cool. I didn't realize it takes two. Still, why not get the readily available 2330? Because it's not as common as the other models. 2330's are rare in the US, they're more commonly used in Europe.Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™
