Skydiving near Pensacola, FL

Recommended Posts

You have three DZ's in the area, but in my highly biased opinion there is only one real choice.
Goldcoast Skydivers in Moss Point, MS http://www.goldcoastskydivers.com.
Goldcoast would be about a 1.5hr or less drive, but it is just about the friendliest DZ I've been to out of over 70 DZ's visited so far, plus its home. Best aircraft and facilities IMO.

I'd have to agree with Spaceman, although I am also slightly biased since I have not jumped at Gold Coast. I am from Ohio and was visiting a friend, and I went to Emerald Coast and couldn't have felt more welcome! The beach jumps are amazing!!! Definitely check it out! ;)

Emerald Coast is the pimp daddy of Pensacola DZs. Closest to P-cola and super friendly jumpers. It's my home DZ now so feel free to shoot me a PM if you have any questions about it. The beach jumps are beyond spectacular. You will love it here.

i jumped at emerald coast for 6 months backin 2002 and it was great.. very nice friendly place.. took a coule weekends to get to know everyone and learn thier names but it was great..... coolest thing was being ablwe to jump into the florabama and drink and eat crawfish and hang out......most awsome jump was a 6 way sunset jump over the gulf.. just made a bfr and held it.. very cool........ the beer than night and craming 13 skydivers into a van was fun...... didn't help that i had to pee about the whole way back to the dz and tha's an 20-30 minute ride....(10 miles as the otter flew though)
