riggerrob 643 #1 April 19, 2004 I got a scary phone call at 01:00 last night. The caller reported a fire in the hangar adjacent to the one containing a couple of Cessna jump planes. Fortunately our King Air was out of town. I threw on some clothes and rushed over to the airport to see a couple of fire trucks and a smoldering van. The van was ruined. Damage to the adjacent hangar was limited to a burnt door. The only affect on our hangar was a bit of smoke. Whew! Volunteer firefighters deserve our thanks! FrogNog 1 #2 April 19, 2004 Good job! Glad to hear the important stuff didn't get burnt. I can hitchhike back from the LZ; I can't walk to altitude. -=-=-=-=- Pull.

Snowbird 0 #5 April 19, 2004 I nearly swallowed my tongue when I saw your subject line. We've had enough fires in BC! No more! No more DZ fires, PERIOD! Very very glad to hear you came out okay. Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea. -Robert A. Heinlein
