vt1977 0 #2 April 22, 2004 At Nethers the going rate for a packjob is £5. That is what you get paid for packing student rigs and is generally speaking the going rate for standard packjobs. Personally - I charge people £4 if they are going to use my services regularly. The only time I will charge £5 is if it is a brand new canopy on a humid day! Zeemax 0 #3 April 22, 2004 i pack my own, but the going rate is a fiver at headcorn Phoenix Fly - High performance wingsuits for skydiving and BASE Performance Designs - Simply brilliant canopies
Adriandavies 0 #4 April 22, 2004 £3 at Langar. It might cost more to jump here than at many other dz's (£18 for 13000 feet) but the packing is cheaper!

Vicki I paid Sian 10 quid once to get my 5 jump old Spectre 170 done 'cos I was really pissed off with it! She felt really guilty afterwards though and promised me a free one... I have yet to collect... (pack job of course - what were you thinking!!)*************** Not one shred of evidence supports the theory that life is serious - look at the platypus. Yep - didn't I pack that canopy when it had something silly like 1 or 2 jumps on it?! I seem to remember you pointed at the rig, handed me a fiver and legged it! It wasn't that bad though - a bit slippery but no problem getting it in the bag! Vicki
jmidgley 0 #7 April 23, 2004 I pay for packjobs in Empuria because a) I'm on holiday and b) I'm on another load in 10 minutes. I pack for myself in England mostly because it's rare that I'm going to be jumping again inside an hour, so it seems a bit daft to pay someone, just to sit around bored! Also £5 vs. 4.5 euros...
