Spatula 0 #1 April 26, 2004 A friend of mine just finished Military freefall training (along with many other schools) and wants to know how to apply for a civilian license? usskydiver 0 #2 April 26, 2004 If he takes his MFF Card and jump log to almost any local DZ, the staff there can help him out. He will need further training as cutaway/reserve ripcord locations are different on civilian gear vs. military gear. He will also need "hand deploy transition training" as the main deployment method is different. He can also expect a fairly thorough "quiz" covering A/C procedures, EP's etc. Tim T.
