Skytronic FX in different Body Positions....

Recommended Posts

Having a Skytronic FX in your helmet.. does different body positions affect speed readings? If so, which body positions would they be? Head down? Head up?

i have found that with my s-fx i normally will get a slower speed reading than my frinds obn the jump with a protrack and we will be in the same relitive speed most of the time....... but have not noticed a certain position that it is off in.... just generally diffrent than the protracks on the jump

i can tell about pro-track but i'm pretty sure they all work similiar. the higher speed you have in freefall and the more radical transition you make the more speed reading will be affected. average speed will be more or less accurate since if it goes in transition from one preassure area to another, it most likely will get a spike of false higher speed and the opposite spike of false lower speed as well and they will cancel each other. the max speed could be affected more since it might register it on high speed spike.
