rendezvous 0 #1 January 21, 2004 Want to take up a tunnel camp. How do you think the NSL camp compares with the Airspeed one. Which one offers more value for money, or are they pretty much the same. Appreciate an opinions on this.
flyangel2 2 #2 January 21, 2004 I know there are different things that each camp covers. I would suggest contact the contact person for the camps and ask them what their TLO is in the camps. With you having 200 plus jumps, you have the basic flying knowledge. Go for the camp that's going to challenge you the most. Make it worth the money you'll be spending. And have fun.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey
PhreeZone 20 #3 January 21, 2004 You might want to call around and talk to some people that went to the camps and get first hand impressions. The camps should be able to give you some names of satisifed customers. If there are no satisifed people, then that might help.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
marcandalysse 0 #4 January 22, 2004 I have to mention that USA Women's Skydiving Team Synchronicity is having a tunnel camp March 13-14 at Skyventure Orlando. Total of 1 hour flying time, video reviews, food snacks drinks included. The price is incredible, very reasonable. Alysse and I will be there!! I train alot with Sally Hathaway, have mentioned it on other tunnel threads. She is very innovative and although I have trained in the tunnel with a few other great coaches, I have really enjoyed and learned the most with Sally. You can get more details at www.teamsynchronicity.com Marc
exwhuffo 0 #5 January 23, 2004 Take the NSL camp. you wont be disappointed and its cheaper. I took the tunnel camp last year and it was awesome. the 2 hour camp is great but you better be in good shape. You will get the same quality of coaching in the tunnel as airspeed camp. airgord 1 #6 January 26, 2004 There is cheaper and there is jumping with world champions, but it is your choice, there is much to learn in both cases. Have fun
Ron 10 #7 January 26, 2004 I would call both and ask about the program and the targeted learning objectives of both....Find out who is going to be coaching at that particular camp. I doubt you would go wrong with either. Both have good coaches, one has World Champions but costs more."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers,
