The style & accuracy portion of the meet completed June 27 in Kaluga, 150 miles south of Moscow, with 32 competitors from 11 countries entered. U.S. national women’s style & accuracy champion, Elisa Feldt, from the U.S. Army Parachute Team, the Golden Knights, scored nine consecutive dead-center landings before missing by only one centimeter in a very dramatic round 11 jump-off against Valerie Vanhove (France) to earn the silver medal. Combined with her fourth-place finish in freefall style, Feldt'soverall performance earned her a bronze medal for the U.S. Feldt’s teammate Chris Moore, U.S. national champion in the classic events, beat three-time world champion, Marco Pflueger (Germany), in a jump-off for third-place in accuracy. http://uspa.org/news/index.htmquade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
airgord 1 #2 June 29, 2004 I'm not really a fan of the classic events but 32 competitors, for a world cup event, that is sort of sad to me. Congrats to our US team though.
