themitchyone 0 #1 June 30, 2004 I bought a jumpsuit on Ebay, and it came today. It was only $100 and totally exceeded my expectations. The thing looks brand new, and the guy even threw in a pair of goggles. The arms need to be brought in which shouldn't be a problem, but what worries me is that it's too long in the torso. When I make a fold-over in the torso, like several inches worth, it's almost perfect, so I'm afraid a waist might have to go in. Would that be terribly dorky?"If the Bible has taught us nothing else, and it hasn't, it's that girls should stick to girl's sports such as hot oil wrestling and foxy boxing." - Homer Simpson
quade 4 #2 June 30, 2004 Take it to Perris this weekend and hook up with Shirley Pelland. She is a jumpsuit genius and can do wonders with alterations.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
ZoneRat 0 #3 June 30, 2004 Hey congrats on your jumpsuit. It's purty! Does it have inside leg grippers? I can't tell from the pic. If it doesn't, you might consider adding that to the list of alterations. They arent required for basic fun jumpin', but if you ever decide to get on a team you'll need them. I'd bet your avatar could be embroidered pretty easily... if you wanted to trick it out a little. tfelber 0 #4 June 30, 2004 She did a great job with mine. I gave it to her on Saturday of the JOTP boogie and she said I could get it the following week but actually brought it out to me the next day.

riggerrob 643 #6 June 30, 2004 Check the fit with a tight harness before you do any alterations. leg straps significantly shorten the torso on any jump suit.
eeneR 3 #7 June 30, 2004 Not to mention you want to have some room in the torso...I have a jumpsuit that was made snug in the torso and i cannot arch fully in it....my good suit has an inch or two of room, and once my rig is on, it fits great...and i can arch as hard as i need to...She is not a "Dumb Blonde" - She is a "Light-Haired Detour Off The Information Superhighway." eeneR TF#72, FB#4130, Incauto
themitchyone 0 #8 June 30, 2004 I should post a pic... I'm sure it's so sexy with the crotch hanging down to my knees ... no not that bad. I'm seeing Shirley at Perris Saturday morning, and I'm sure she'll help me out. I'm really happy with the design of the suit, and even if the alterations get up there, achem, pricey that is, it still seems like a great deal. BTW, it does have leg grips. -Michele"If the Bible has taught us nothing else, and it hasn't, it's that girls should stick to girl's sports such as hot oil wrestling and foxy boxing." - Homer Simpson

skyyhi 0 #10 June 30, 2004 Shirley is a genius. Michelle, she can fix anything. I am actually giving my jumpsuit to her this weekend to have it taken in since it is TOOOOO big now. Bring it and try it on for her to show her what needs to be done. She can do it.________________________________________ Take risks not to escape life… but to prevent life from escaping. ~ A bumper sticker at the DZ FGF #6 Darcy
