WFFC - Halo

Does anyone have any other contact details for the peeps organising the HALO jumps at the WFFC?

I've tried e-mailing them, but no reply, and i want to talk to them before i pre register, which i want to do soon!!

you actually gonna do that 30,000 foot HALO one? thats pretty expensive stuff considering you only get like 30 more seconds of freefall then the 23,000 foot one.
although i have heard that sometimes they go higher then 30,000 ft.

ive done it and would never do it again
its extremly exahasting you are done for the day..
there is no air to fly on up there u just flail about.
the pressure in your head is painfull.
your deff for days.
i could go on but i wont
dont waste ya $$

As someone who used to do O2 jumps from that altitude on a fairly regular basis at work, I will concur that "real" HALO jumps are not fun. Overpressure from your O2 mask, heavy fucking rucksacks, freezing cold, middle of the night.. You can have that. The civilian version that they hawk for $350 at the convention is pure novelty. It's great for the person who can also afford to pay that amount for jumps from the bomber, but is no more entertaining, freefall wise, than one gets for the $45 one pays for a jump from Mike's plane from 23k.

I concur with Chuck, I'll take skydiving over work HALO jumps any day. Save your money and get on Mullin's King air to 23k. For those of you who think you have the arm muscles, feel free to join me for another 23k Birdman flight.....breathing is not an option;)
