rickfri59 0 #1 February 11, 2004 , got functionally decent at side slides and maintaining position while moving arms/legs. My opinion, money well spent. Can't wait until I can afford it again.

RoadRash 0 #3 February 11, 2004 LoL....that sounds like me when I started FF in the tunnel a couple of weeks ago...teehee...I started out on my belly to get reacquainted with the tunnel and then did some back flying and got into a sit and worked on forward/backward motion and turning...I love the tunnel!!!!! Can't wait to go back either...hopefully going back before the next CSC tunnel camp...but we'll see......Glad you had fun...~R+R~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Fly the friendly skies...^_^...})ii({...^_~... SkydiveNFlorida 0 #4 February 12, 2004 Awesome! My bf & I recently went on a tunnel adventure and in 20 minutes I was able to get belly, back & sitflying in. Even though I had to alter my body position to sit fly (because in order to get off the net you have to catch more air until they get those stronger engines running) I found this very helpful. Seeing what small movements really do in flight was an awesome experience. I think i've been doing better in the sky since, too! I could just be being optimistic, though:D Definitely worth a trip ! Synapse 0 #5 February 12, 2004 Wow, sounds like you worked on the exact same stuff I did in the tunnel last weekend (not in the camp though, just a coached session). Only difference is that I never did any "intentional" side to side stuff. Good move on giving it a try, I'm strictly a newbie, but I can see through my progression that the tunnel is a HUGE help. One of the guys I flew with at Skyventure last weekend had 2500 jumps, but no tunnel time and he quickly realized that he wasn't as in control as he thought. Having those walls right there to use as a reference point really makes you take notice of all of the small mistakes that can "slip by" when doing the real thing. Not to mention the benefit of your flying getting your total attention rather than most of it being directed at the big ass rock headed at you when in freefall. The bad part is, as arlo said, the shit is like crack. -synThey who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. - Benjamin Franklin

pccoder 0 #9 February 19, 2004 I am very lucky to live within an hour of the tunnel in Orlando. I have been able to spend over 1 1/2 hours of flight time in the tunnel last year. What an amazing and wonderful tool that has been in helping me learn more quickly different skills that would have taken so much more time in the air. Wind Tunnels are one the best inventions of all time!!!!!! PcCoder.net
