Fab 0 #1 August 26, 2004 This is my last color scheme. Am planning to order my canopy tomorrow. I have brought it down to two options. Which do you like more? _______________________________________
DShiznit 0 #2 August 26, 2004 The first one is a PD standard color scheme. It's a very typical stock color canopy. Might want to get a yellow slider instead as well. JMO edit - woohoo, post 1000

FrogNog 1 #4 August 26, 2004 I'm a fan of symmetrical color schemes because I think it makes it easier to diagnose a malfunction that causes a misshapen canopy.

I don't know, the second one would help you to determine if the canopy was installed backwards. "Gee, isn't the stripe supposed to be on the other side?" jazzjumper 0 #10 August 27, 2004 Had a sabre in the first combination....great looking canopy. Flip a coin, just pack it nicely and fly it safe. Congrats and blue skies! No matter how good she looks, someone, somewhere is sick of her shit!

If you need to look at the color pattern to determine whether the canopy has been hooked up correctly, perhaps owning a parachute might not be in your best interest. packerboy 3 #14 August 27, 2004 Number 1, but with all ribs yellow. By the way.... a friend of mine just received a brand new Pilot.. all of the line groups are colour coded at the attachment points... I thought this was kind of cool. Is there any other manufacturer doing that? -------------------------------------------------- In matters of style, swim with the current; in matters of principle, stand like a rock. ~ Thomas Jefferson

Is there any other manufacturer doing that? i believe the pisa hornets were/are like that. i believe that aerodyne bought/merged/absorbed pisa, so it's not surprising that the pilot has that feature."Hang on a sec, the young'uns are throwin' beer cans at a golf cart."
