grue 1 #1 September 3, 2004 The $110 retraining fee would certainly be more enjoyable in the form of 4 student freefall jumps Oh well, October, I await thee.cavete terrae.

Oh well, look at it this way, you can go down to Buffalo Alice and eat pizza, drink beer and "think" about skydiving. That will keep your liver trained for when you get to jump again. Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.

I suppose, but it's still aggravating On the other hand, I've got a new girl to hang out with, she keeps me every bit as happy as jumping out of planes cavete terrae. GravityGirl 0 #4 September 3, 2004 Better new tarmac and no jumping than ground looping in the airplane! Look on the bright side. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
JohnMitchell 16 #5 September 3, 2004 How much time is required to do the retraining and how much time off requires retraining? If it were my DZ, and no, I don't have one, I would consider discounting the retraining heavily since The DZ was closed and you couldn't jump. Seems fair to me. sundevil777 102 #6 September 4, 2004 Just use your charm and sweet talk them. They have to formally stick to the rules.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
mrhoop 0 #7 September 4, 2004 why do you need to pay 110$, just to re-train for a new tarmac.

sundevil777 102 #9 September 4, 2004 In order to increase your chances of getting a break... Get there early, be polite and ready to get in the suspended harness to show you know your stuff. Damn, I had a 3 month break between jump 1 & 2, then a 2 month break before #3, and I never paid for re-training. Just plead your case with respect.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. JohnMitchell 16 #10 September 4, 2004 I think I'm going to get in the retraining business. Make $110 for a couple of hours work! Our DZ does it a lot cheaper than that. Are you AFF or static line?
