adrenalinejunki 0 #1 September 7, 2004 I live in eastern Kentucky and some friends of mine went to a rodeo and there was a demo jump. They said one of the jumpers canopy hit power lines and then he went through a chain link fence. He was carried off in an ambulance. When I got home from the dz tonight I found out that he was seriously injured and the demo team was out of Knoxville,TN. Nobody I jump with seems to know who it was. I was hoping someone may be able to give me a clue if these jumpers was from Knoxville and if the injured jumper is ok? __________________________________________________What's the worst that can happen? adrenalinejunki 0 #4 September 9, 2004 Thanks for the info. The wuffo rumor going around here said he was either dead or "they don't expect him to make it". These hillbillies around here can twist anything out of shape. __________________________________________________What's the worst that can happen? Like the time I landed a (canopy formation) biplane on the soccer field (our normal experienced landing field). When I went into town for lunch, I encountered a co-worker (avionics technician) who told me about "two jumpers who collided and got badly mangled." I tried to explain my side of the story, but he clearly preferred his version. Hee! Hee!
