Terminal-V 0 #1 September 9, 2004 Hello everyone. this is my first post and i was wondering if anyone knows if it's a leave a message type of place or do they pick up the phone sometimes. I've called all week and no answer. I work so much that I am hardly home and I really cant get calls at work. Any info would be great. So far I have found so much info on this web site. thank you to everyone that contributes to this site. it has already helped me so much.. Mike
Kris 0 #2 September 9, 2004 Deland got positively hammered by the hurricane. No surprise that they aren't answering. Give them some time to get things back to normal in that area.Sky, Muff Bro, Rodriguez Bro, and Bastion of Purity and Innocence!™

bigbearfng 18 #4 September 9, 2004 I was able to talk to alti-2 this Am-they said they're one of the few with working phones-but on gen power. The phones there will ring on your end, but the phones are mostly down; they're not being rude by not answering....

kimgriffin 0 #8 September 10, 2004 I heard that Rob Laidlaw's (president, CEO or what ever of SDU) home was hit hard by Frances. His car and another other car in his diveway were both hit by falling trees - the tree won in both cases. Power and telephone is still down in many places in DeLand (getting better though). Cel phone towers must have been damaged too, as many of us have intermitent cel service here. You may want to call Skydive DeLand if you can't reach SDU. 386-738-3539. They're jumping today and have power and telephone.
