quade 4 #2 September 10, 2004 Yesterday we put up 50 and 40 ways. 50 was base practice with Dan BC. 40 was late diver practice with Kate Cooper. Biggest problem yesterday was weather related; heat and humidity with having to sit out and dodge some cummulo-boomis. Today we're putting up as many people as we have (about 91ish) and so far today we've done 3 loads with 2 more scheduled. We're suffering from a different kind of weather related issue today; some folks just couldn't make it because of hurricanes in Florida. We're calling in jumpers from nearby states. We'll see what we get tomorrow.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

quade 4 #4 September 11, 2004 Well, it's half done now. Totally done on Sunday. Anyhoo . . . We're lookin' pretty good. A couple of small issues, but fixable. Again the biggest issue is we don't seem to have quite the number of people here we'd need to actually set a new record, but we're hopeful some will magically appear by tomorrow. BTW, JP are you -really- eligible for POPS? That don't sound right!quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
Deuce 1 #5 September 11, 2004 Yeah, Daddyoh. I'm 41. I'll be happy to come down if my current world record holding sequential self can help.
MakeItHappen 15 #6 September 11, 2004 Quote How are they going? Dives are going great. We even almost completed the 90-what-ever-way from 12,500, when we could not get full altitude clearance. Saturday, we have more locals appearing that had to work Thurs & Friday. Three special, guest POPS are making travel plans to be there too. We might even ask the POPS camera folks to dock.??? In the meantime, I'm learning everyone's name. I should be at 80% accuracy for 90% of the load by the end of Sat. Funny, there was one guy, my head kept saying 'Cooper' as his name. Corey Parker Co P er Is that wild or what??? Now that I know this - his name is easy. Sky and Betty are doing awesome jobs. .. quade 4 #7 September 11, 2004 Quote We might even ask the POPS camera folks to dock.??? Lemme tell ya -- that's the last thing they need. I'm pretty sure only one of the camera flyers is age qualified and he's not qualified to touch anyone in freefall. Although he does seem to get kicked in the privates on just about every exit. Maybe that's the negative re-enforcement that keeps him from wanting to touch anyone during the rest of the dive. quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver

quade 4 #13 September 12, 2004 Quote Call me next time. Ya gotta understand that when it comes to stuff at this level, I'm just a cog in the wheels. I -may- have been lead camera flyer for the event, but only because OB was out of town and he's the guy really in charge of the camera staff for these large events.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
